The Expatriate Magazine celebrates its first year anniversary in style on the evening of Saturday 26 November 2011 at the Senate Lounge, Village Walk Sandton. We apologise for a second change in venue but we have been left with no choice but to move the event from Capital Cafe (and previously Hush) in an effort to ensure that the large numbers expected have an unmatched customer experience at what promises to be the party of the year. The entry fee at the door is R100 which includes a copy of the magazine and entertainment from a host of varied African DJ's and MC's: DJ's Mikey/Paps (Kenya) DJ Chaka D (Zimbabwe) DJ Tabs (Zambia/Malawi) and MC's Planet Radio's Turas (Ghana) and Sheila Lynn Senkubuge (Uganda). The event will be covered by Planet Image - the brand behind DSTV's Good Morning Africa show and internet radio station Planet Radio.
The guest list discount of R35 that was available to the first 100 people to register and pay for the event is now sold out. Unlike previous magazine launches, there will be no speeches at this event, just all night partying. The start time is 10.00pm and dress code is strictly Smart Casual. Contact Carol on 0822146421 in case of any queries. This event is not to be missed, so see you there!!!!
